I grew up in the backwater swamps of Louisiana where I gained a deep respect for nature and an equally deep distrust of industry - particularly the oil industry. Most of my adult life has been in service of spreading information about biodiesel, the fuel made from vegetable oil that runs in any diesel engine. I have written two books on the topic of biodiesel and am currently working on a documentary movie on the same subject.

I moved to Los Angeles about four years ago after getting an MFA in film from Florida State. I’ve traveled to about 25 countries and feel like I’ve seen a sliver of our Planet. When I’m not working on my movie I enjoy yoga at a local anusara studio, being with friends, assisting at Landmark Education, spending time at the beach and traveling.

I love my life and live for the possiblity of a word at peace.
